The Man Behind The Spices
Tanveer Kwatra Bold, complex and umami flavours defines Tanveer Kwatra at W Goa. Chef Tanveer's love for Asian food also led to him being a founding member of the Asian Hawkers Market, New Delhi and develop and launch Spice Traders at W Goa - an award winning Asian Cuisine restaurant, recently awarded the Travel + Leisure Best Pan-Asian Cuisine 2018 Award. Travel is not just a hobby but a passion for Chef Tanveer and he strongly believes that his learning of food comes through his travels. He has extensively travelled throughout Asia, from Thailand to Singapore and more recently Israel - and picks up on the little things that make the difference in his food. Chef Tanveer's exquisite use of textures and flavours has been a trend setter and earned him quite a fan-following in the fine dining space. Tanveer's passion for excellence drives him constantly to introduce novel food concepts and has won him many accolades including BW Hotelier Young Chef of the Year 2016, Hotelier India Young Chef of the Year 2017, and more recently Most Innovative Chef at the FOOD FOOD Awards 2018.
